Michael Anthony Moffat (born February 4, 1962 in Galt, Ontario) is a Canada ice hockey goaltender, who played in the NHL for the Boston Bruins. He also played in the AHL for the Baltimore Skipjacks, Hershey Bears, and Nova Scotia Oilers. He played junior hockey for the Kingston Canadians from 1979 to 1982. In 1982 he represented Canada at the 1982 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships and was named the Best Goaltender at the tournament after leading Canada to the gold medal.

He also played in the AHL for the Baltimore Skipjacks, Hershey Bears, and Nova Scotia Oilers. He played junior hockey for the Kingston Canadians from 1979 to 1982. In 1982 he represented Canada at the 1982 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships and was named the Best Goaltender at the tournament after leading Canada to the gold medal. Moffat was chosen 165th overall by the Boston Bruins in the 1980 NHL Entry Draft. Moffat joined the Bruins at the end of the 1981-82 season and played two regular season and 13 playoff games. The next season (Moffat's first full pro year) he split between the Bruins and the Baltimore Skipjacks. Moffat posted a mediocore 4-6-1 record in the NHL. He went on to play his last four NHL games in 1983-84 and his last pro game (for the Nova Scotia Oilers in 1984-85. Moffat then enrolled ar Wilfred Laurier University where he studied for a degree and played hockey. He retired in 1988 after playing some games for the Canadian National Team.
