The Hotel Los Angeles was a hotel located in Los Angeles, California. In 1998, a group led by Angelo De Salvo's older brothers masterminded an attack on the hotel, intended to aid in a robbery. The Los Angeles domestic unit of the Counter Terrorist Unit took part in a mission to neutralize the attack. Jack Bauer served as section captain on the operation, while Richard Walsh served as team leader. Ryan Chappelle, then regional administrator, oversaw operations. George Mason also took part in the response, later receiving a Special Commendation. (Collateral Damage, Findings at CTU)
