The Black monarch (Symposiachrus boanensis), is a species of monarch flycatcher in the Monarchidae family. It is endemic in Indonesia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist shrubland. It is threatened by habitat loss.
