Solar Beam (ソーラービーム, Solar Beam) is a damage-dealing Grass-type move introduced in the first generation. It is TM22 in every generation.
Solar Beam is a druid ability learned at level 28 by druids who have chosen the Balance specialization. It works similarly to Freya's Sunbeam spell, instantly silencing the target until they move out of the effect radius.

Sceptile will charge up the Solar Beam over time; the amount of charge it has is indicated by the orbs on Sceptile's back. When they glow completely bright and shimmer, the attack is completely charged. Input the command for the attack to launch the solar beam. The beam gets wider and deals more damage when fully charged. It has a great range and can be fired at different angles if the controller input is used.
