Zhanghengite is a consisting of mainly copper and iron. 80% of Zhanghengite is composed of copper. Zhanghengite often appears as a golden yellow color. It was discovered in 1986 while the Bo Xian Meteorite was being analyzed. It is also named after Zhang Heng, who was an ancient Chinese astronomer. This mineral does not form naturally on Earth.
