Nigel Allan Havers (born 6th November 1951 in Edmonton, London) appeared on Coronation Street as Lewis Archer between December 2009 and August 2010, and made a return to the role from February 2012 to the February of the following year. Havers is best known for his role in Chariots of Fire and his other credits include Empire of the Sun, Don't Wait Up, and A Passage to India. He starred in The Importance of Being Earnest during the summer of 2014 at the Harold Pinter Theatre, along with Sian Phillips and Martin Jarvis.
