  • Technology is the heart and soul of America's progress, the bulwark of American power, and the greatest non-spiritual hope for the future in every area of endeavor. And with extensive personal experience in Silicon Valley, our Chairman, Rod D. Martin, is uniquely qualified to speak to technology issues. Throughout the late 1990s, Rod D. Martin and Vanguard PAC were watchmen on the wall, decrying the deflationary monetary policies and regulatory nightmare which ultimately led to the tech crash of 2000-2002. Today, we continue to advocate basic principles of sanity: deregulation (particularly reform of the disastrous Telecom Act of 1996) of an industry Washington does not and cannot understand well enough to tell what to do; monetary policy designed to encourage rather than destroy economic growth; and tax policies which permit the sort of explosive entreprenurship necessary to continue what has to date been like unto nothing so much as the Industrial Revolution itself.
