"Aeonid" is the codename for a character introduced in Pokémon Pyro Red, Geo Green, and Hydro Blue as an International Police officer on assignment investigating Team Rocket and its plans. Aeonid's attitude makes him difficult to work with, temporarily making him an antagonist during the post-game, but he's one of the toughest battlers on the force who does have good interests at heart.

| - "Aeonid" is the codename for a character introduced in Pokémon Pyro Red, Geo Green, and Hydro Blue as an International Police officer on assignment investigating Team Rocket and its plans. Aeonid's attitude makes him difficult to work with, temporarily making him an antagonist during the post-game, but he's one of the toughest battlers on the force who does have good interests at heart. Aeonid uses Bug-Type Pokémon in battle, including a Pinsir he can Mega Evolve into Mega Pinsir using his Mega Watch. Notably, Aeonid appears to have a bitter dislike of Psychic-Type Pokemon, considering those who use them to be overconfident and living in a fantasy of invincibility. He is the only character in the games to have the Trainer class Interpol Agent.
