| - I never said that because I was creating this for a class that I expected not to follow the guidelines. It isn't professional to twist another's words or try to shame them. Shame on you. Absolutely I want to abide by the guidelines, I am just confused and thought that I was abiding by them per the "new users may need multiple edits to create their first site". I actually don't know how to move things from sandbox to the permanent site nor did it look the same in the sandbox preview as it did when I tried it the other way. It was much nicer looking when I created the title in the permanent space. I also clearly read all tutorials first, used the wizard, and practiced. I did see during this process instructions to your editor group, "be kind to new users". I was trying to use multiple sessions to create the content, something that doesn't seem to be allowed in practice despite the instructions to the contrary. I also see from your comments to others that you are in a habit of stating things as if each person were your adversary rather than people that might need assistance to become users. Wikipedia is spending a lot of time and energy creating content to try and entice new users to try and create content. I can tell you that there are a lot of people in the world with thinner skins than the 2% who are posting most of the content on this site. I've had friends tell me they never went back to the public library after one person appeared rude to them at the desk. I can say, it is my belief that most people if they receive such speedy and thoughtless criticism without any offer of assistance whatsoever aside from this very public talk page they will walk away and never look back. I won't, because that isn't me, but if Wikipedia wants to maintain a 2% creator group, the way to do it would be to continue to respond to people as if they are willfully irritating or just born stupid. The truth is, it isn't easy to navigate this very different arena online and some understanding is warranted. I would hope that you could understand and find some empathy for others.
