- Rubio was a mercenary working for Santana. Rubio was first to die on Not-Furya between the jaws of a predator trap. First he got caught by the legs, and while trying to crawl away, he got caught in the second trap by his head.
- Rubio was a character on Xena: Warrior Princess. He was a prisoner of the Cannibals, who had avoided being consumed as a result of a strict diet and exercise routine. He met Virgil when he too was captured by the Cannibals. Despite the poor conditions of the prison and the spiteful behaviour of the Cannibals, he was very calm and happy most of the time. He was saved by Xena when she broke Virgil and Gabrielle out of the prison. He was played by Ian Harcourt.
