Traffic in Audiosurf, is a catch-all term for objects you can bump into during main gameplay. It is notable that they also move on their own, the only way players can catch up to them is because their cars are moving faster. Players can only bump one piece of traffic at a time, even though you may be playing Double Vision. This means that 2 blocks will never pass through the player at once.

  • 20th Century Fox, the original financiers of the film, demanded Harrison Ford play a leading role and that significant changes to the screenplay be made. Soderbergh refused and proposed the script to other major Hollywood studios, but it was rejected because of the three-hour running time and the subject matter — Traffic is more of a political film than most Hollywood productions. USA Films, however, liked the project from the start and offered the film-makers more money than Fox. Soderbergh operated the camera himself and adopted a distinctive cinematography tint for each story so that audiences could tell them apart.

  • Traffic (formerly known as "dwell" since SL 1.5.13 (Jan 12, 2005)) refers to the amount of resident-related traffic a land parcel receives. Traffic is a total number based on the amount of residents and how much time they spend on that parcel. The owner is then paid an amount of money from a shared "pot" based on the total traffic their parcel has earned (this is being deprecated--see links below). Traffic is also used for listings in the Find window, such as "Popular Places".
