| - In a discussion with an admin, it was agreed that notable events such as the Wedding of Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour and the Slug Club Christmas Party should have their own articles. Some other notable events in the series that should have their own articles include:
* The Funeral of Albus Dumbledore
* The Funeral of Dobby
* Celebrations such as the one after Gryffindor’s Quidditch victory in Half-Blood Prince If anyone would like to get started on these articles, or has ideas for other events that could use their own articles, it would be a great way to get House points. Oread (talk) 13:10, 19 April 2009 (UTC) What about the Wedding of Tonks and Lupin or Harry´s birthdays? --Rodolphus 14:56, 20 April 2009 (UTC) I think Harry's birthday party in Deathly Hallows could merit its own article. I'm not sure about the wedding of Tonks and Lupin, though, because we never actually see it, and we don't know much about it. But I wouldn't be opposed to it -- the article could mention how they had to keep it quiet because the Ministry's anti-werewolf legislation, how Remus suspected that Tonks's parents disapproved, how Voldemort mocked the Malfoys and Bellatrix because of it, how Remus later came to regret it when Tonks was pregnant, etc. Good ideas. Oread (talk) 17:53, 20 April 2009 (UTC) We aöso could add a list of all birthday presents on the birthday article.--Rodolphus 19:03, 20 April 2009 (UTC) I just created the article for the Wedding of Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks and I'm in the process of starting an article for Harry Potter's Seventeenth Birthday Party. The presents he received then can obviously go into that article, but the presents for his other birthdays could probably go into the July 31 article. Oread (talk) 19:48, 20 April 2009 (UTC) Other possibilities for new articles are objects. For instance, I recently created articles for Ron Weasley's sweetheart necklace and Hermione Granger's handbag; You-Know-Who created one for the Mokeskin pouch. If anyone remembers other similar objects that do not have their own articles yet, feel free to create them. Oread (talk) 17:31, 21 April 2009 (UTC) I wouLd suggest the miniature broom, cristmas present from Tonks to Harry in book 5. Other possibilities could be Selwyn´s wand or the figures of the Quidditch players in book 4. I haven´r found articles on these things yet.--Rodolphus 15:22, 22 April 2009 (UTC) As the article Giovanni Fidelli was rescently created, would it be appropriate to write articles on the other players mentioned in Quidditch World Cup? --Rodolphus 15:05, 23 April 2009 (UTC) For me, that's ok. ...I created the article on Giovanni after i seen, there's already existing articles on other players/individuals only appeared on Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup like Debbie Montz, Robert Green and Zograf. --ÈnŔîčö File:Ravenclawcrest.jpg(Send me an Owl!) 15:14, 23 April 2009 (UTC) OK. I´ve created the Glenda Harkin article. Can anyone upload an image?--Rodolphus 12:57, 24 April 2009 (UTC) Another idea: Peter Pettigrew's silver hand.--Rodolphus 19:20, 25 April 2009 (UTC) Great idea! I have just created that article. ShirleyA 11:11, 26 April 2009 (UTC) I´ve added an infobox. We need an image from film 4.--Rodolphus 11:21, 26 April 2009 (UTC) Are there any other good articles to create? ShirleyAFile:Luna Lovegood.jpg(The Quibbler) 08:24, 10 May 2009 (UTC) Some other possible ideas for new articles are the wands of various characters. It was discussed in a forum thread here. Just be careful that there is something to add to the article besides an image (i.e. there has to be some information about the wand in question from the series). There may also be some magical objects or potions that we don't have articles for here. For instance, I recently created the Revealer article. You can check out the HP Lexicon list for ideas. Oread (talk) 21:55, 11 May 2009 (UTC) I´ve never foumd an article about the Duel between Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald. Does it allready exist?--Rodolphus 18:22, 19 May 2009 (UTC) I've created it. ShirleyAImage:Luna Lovegood.jpg(The Quibbler) 00:15, 24 May 2009 (UTC) some other houses have talked about a Quidditch cup. I was wondering, are we doing anything of that sort? ShirleyAImage:Luna Lovegood.jpg(The Quibbler) 10:45, 28 May 2009 (UTC) Good Question.. I would like ro have it.--Rodolphus 17:41, 28 May 2009 (UTC) I am new to the house points game. I looked in the wanted articles page, but I don't really know about anything there. So what do I do to help? Hermione524 03:03, 29 May 2009 (UTC) Found something that I could write - Slytherin Quidditch Team is now created. Hermione524 14:50, 29 May 2009 (UTC) St. Brutus's Secure Center For Incurably Criminal Boys is created, but help if you can, because it is a very short stub! Hermione524 15:13, 29 May 2009 (UTC) I have created two articles and done many minor edits, but I haven't gotten any points. Is there a rule about what you have to do to get points? Hermione524 00:55, 30 May 2009 (UTC) Your edits consist mainly of minor ones. Try to make some larger-scale contributions to the wiki, like rewrites and expansions. Also, most of the pages you created already existed (St. Brutus's Secure Center For Incurably Criminal Boys already existed under the name St. Brutus' Secure Center for Incurably Criminal Boys and Slytherin Quidditch Team already existed under the name Slytherin Quidditch team) -- Seth Cooper Image:Moon.jpg (Owl Post) 01:04, 30 May 2009 (UTC) What's a rewrite? Hermione524 15:36, 31 May 2009 (UTC) A rewrite is writing the article from the beginning again. A quality rewrite should bring more information, more references, less red-links (if any) and more legibility. -- Seth Cooper Image:Moon.jpg (Owl Post) 15:40, 31 May 2009 (UTC) So, I bring up this question again: What about our Ravenclaw Quidditch Team?--Rodolphus 07:32, 2 June 2009 (UTC) I say let's do it! Hermione524 15:38, 13 June 2009 (UTC) It's been a long time since anybody's been earning points? Is everyone kind of slacking off/ ShirleyAImage:Luna Lovegood.jpg(The Quibbler) 10:22, 30 June 2009 (UTC) I've been in Ravenclaw for about 2 weeks and I've made almost 80 edits, yet I haven't earned a single point. I say it's the Prefects slacking off. BarrettMark96 05:11, 1 July 2009 (UTC) The House Points Game is currently on hiatus. It will restart on September 15. Oread (talk) 21:14, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
