When she was about to be captured by Captain Xres of Space Patrol, she changed her hair color and switched places with Futura, who had recently become her prisoner. Xres took Futura to be sentenced for Yrina's crimes, but the space pirate Omma rescued her, and helped Futura track Yrina down. Omma and Yrina decided to join forces against Futura, but in the fight with Futura, Yrina accidentally shot Omma, sending their ship hurtling into the ocean of an alien planet.
