The Pirate Surveillance Drone is a piece of Space Pirate technology, identical in appearance to an Aeromine, that Samus encounters on the Space Pirate Homeworld. They search and scan for intruders, and should one be found, they activate the alarms in order to call in Space Pirate forces. Several can be seen patrolling the Command Courtyard, and can be scanned, but do not have a Logbook entry. They detect Samus when she returns from the Scrapworks in a cutscene taking place in the Scrapvault.
