The borax may leach dye from dark clothes. If using a plastic bucket or bin the borax water can be reused several times. The lid of the plastic container or bin should be tightly sealed. A single strip of duct tape can be used to quickly sealed and unsealed. You do not want the mites crawling up the sites of the container and out of the top.
