abstract
  • The ogre is the fourth-tier creature of the Plains faction in Heroes of Might and Magic: A Strategic Quest. They are cheap and solid, but their low speed makes them less versatile, and are recommended as shooter guards. The ogre is the main Barbarian unit that makes Hit points cheap. The ogre's Defense is somewhat low, but hit points compensate well for it. Good in population and low on price, they are a must-have defending unit. Slow speed makes them less versatile, but if planning to have orcs in the army, ogre are the way to go. They are best kept in front of a shooter, providing a tough barrier for enemy attackers.
