Sienar Fleet Systems' T.I.E. (Twin Ion Engine) Starfighter, better known as the TIE Fighter, is the backbone of the Imperial space fleet. This single-seater short-range vessel lacks a hyperdrive, and as such requires deployment from launch bases and capital ships. It features two fire-linked laser cannons under the cockpit. Despite its speed and agility, its lack of shields makes it fragile compared to Alliance fighters such as the T-65c X-Wing.

  • The TIE Fighter (short for Twin Ion Engine Starfighter) is the one of the main spaceships in the Star Wars Takeovers. They are mass-produced, and are owned by the Galactic Empire, and are used in their operations.
  • TIE Fighter is a vehicle that appeared in LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga.
  • The TIE Fighter is a vehicle of some sort, always associated with Darth Vader. There are three known types, the Mini-Con TIE Fighter, the TIE Bomber, and the TIE Advanced Fighter that is Darth Vader's personal vehicle. At least three TIE Fighters defend the Death Star.
  • The TIE Fighter is the basic starfighter for the Galactic Empire. It's two small laser cannons deal average damage towards the enemy while retaining average armour. Their boost is fairly decent, and they handle well with small turning arcs. They are basically your average dog fighting star ship. (Equivalent- ARC Fighter, Droid Starfighter, X-Wing).
  • The TIE prototype is restricted to government sales only. It appears to be a standard pod except for the addition of a thin layer of plating and its slightly superior speed.
  • TIE Fighters do not have internal life support, so pilots carry their own. TIE Fighters also lack a Hyperdrive engine, so they require a homebase or a mothership.
  • The TIE/LN starfighter, or TIE/line starfighter, simply known as the TIE Fighter, was the standard Imperial starfighter seen in massive numbers throughout most of the Galactic Civil War and onward. Colloquially, Rebel and New Republic pilots referred to the craft as "eyeballs".
  • TIE Fighter (pol. Imperialna herbata) – pojazd wytworzony przez Noego i spółkę w 5000 r. p.n.e. Jest on wykorzystywany do zabijania statków Yeti.
  • TIE Fighters (Twin Ion Engine) are starfighters used by the Galactic Empire. They are constructed in hundreds of factories, including the TIE Fighter Construction Facility.
  • TIE Fighters are small, agile Imperial ships, that are light, and fast in battle. They are driven by TIE Pilots, and have twin laser blasters on the front. They have no deflector shields, or hyper drive, and have a small, one-man cockpit in between two huge wings. LEGO® made five different versions of this ship: One in 2001, one in 2005, one in 2012, and two mini versions.
  • The TIE fighter was an Imperial fighter that, on average, lasted 0.3 seconds in battle. Or perhaps 0.4. It tended to be made out of plasticine and the pilots tended to be either Ken dolls or idiots. It was PWNed by X-wings.
  • Although the fighter was shapped like a tie, its name stood for Twin Ion Engine. The TIE was created after the reformation of the Galactic Republic into the Galactic Empire. Twin Ion Enginge technology first created the Sith Infiltrator, and the TIE fighter's design was based after the Infiltrator.
  • The TIE Fighter was the typical fighter used by the Empire in Star Wars. Notable features included aluminum foil hull, no life support system, no ejection seat, and an armament of two .22 caliber machine guns. As such these fighters had a damage potential slightly better than that of the Victory-class Star Destroyer. The big advantage was the Empire had a huge number of these fighters as they were cheap. Each fighter only cost about 50 credits, and 42 1/2 cents to build, plus another 200 credits to train a pilot. (There was no need to worry about paying the pilot a wage, as he would usually not survive long enough to claim one.)
  • The famous TIE, or Twin Ion Engine, Fighter, is the standard starfighter of the Empire. TIEs are engineered to operate in groups; the stock TIE Fighter will not last long against even a slightly superior foe. Imperial Pilots are able to move up from their Light TIE Fighters and fly the standard ship at Intermediate TIE Combat Craft certification. Though the TIE Fighter is not supposed to have a hyperdrive according to the official Star Wars canon, player TIEs are equipped with a hyperdrive and can use it like any other starfighter. Despite their low offensive capability, standard TIEs are incredibly agile and can make up for their lack of firepower with skilled piloting. Many Alliance Starfighter Pilots have underestimated the powers of a TIE (or "eyeball" in Alliance pilot slang) flown by
  • The TIE/ln, a descendant of the T.I.E. starfighter and the V-wing starfighter, both developed for the Galactic Republic, was manufactured by Sienar Fleet Systems. In addition to the T.I.E. and V-wing, it was also descended from the TIE starfighter, the first TIE model developed for the Galactic Empire. Primary armament was a pair of powerful laser cannons. These cannons were relatively powerful, and a well-placed hit on a starfighter or medium transport could damage or destroy it. It did not carry missile tubes, but such weapons could be added on if necessary.
