- Meeps were spherical creatures with large ears, a short nose and almond-shaped eyes. Their dense fur concealed a pouch and their blood was green. (COMIC: The Star Beast) They had white fur and pink feet and hands. (COMIC: Star Beast II, PROSE: Placebo Effect)
- Meeps have one large eye and one foot. To move, they hop on their foot (similar to Gabbits). They have a large head and rounded body with a stubby tail. Their eye is normally half closed but opens wide when frightened.

When many meeps live together they form tunnels that connect with all of their holes. Being furry creatures, they are seen in several colors, including blue and purple, with green seeming a rarity among them. They also seem to have some knowledge of magic.
