While he waits for help, he spots an abandoned signalbox near Knapford. After Harvey and his work team come to repair James, he sets off to pick up the children. The teacher tells him that they did not see much on their walk. James gets an idea and suggests that the signalbox can be used as a nature research club that only opens in the winter to allow the children to see wild animals.
