The 80th Battalion, CEF was a unit in the Canadian Expeditionary Force during the First World War. Based in Barriefield, Ontario, the unit began recruiting in the late summer of 1915 in eastern Ontario. After sailing to England in May 1916, the battalion was absorbed into the 51st Battalion, CEF on September 30, 1916. The 80th Battalion, CEF had one Officer Commanding: Lieut-Col. W. G. Ketcheson.
