| - Ronald Arthur Dalzell, 12th Earl of Carnwath (3 June 1883 – 15 July 1931) was the fourth child and second son of Robert Dalzell, 11th Earl of Carnwath and Sarah Bushby Harris. Sarah was the eldest daughter of Capt. John Harris, R.N., of Eldon House London, Ontario, and his wife, Amelia, daughter of Colonel Samuel Ryerse. She was born in Woodhouse, Ont. She married, 1846, Lieut. -Col. the Hon. Robert A. G. Dalzell, C.B., Grenadier Guards. The couple had two sons and three daughters.

| - Ronald Arthur Dalzell, 12th Earl of Carnwath (3 June 1883 – 15 July 1931) was the fourth child and second son of Robert Dalzell, 11th Earl of Carnwath and Sarah Bushby Harris. Sarah was the eldest daughter of Capt. John Harris, R.N., of Eldon House London, Ontario, and his wife, Amelia, daughter of Colonel Samuel Ryerse. She was born in Woodhouse, Ont. She married, 1846, Lieut. -Col. the Hon. Robert A. G. Dalzell, C.B., Grenadier Guards. The couple had two sons and three daughters. With the death of his elder brother in 1904 he became his father's heir and was styled Lord Dalzell. He succeeded to the earldom upon his father's death in 19 October 1878. Posted to the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve with the outbreak of war in 1914 he was attached to the Air Service. Invalided out in 1915 he joined the Welsh Yeomanry and served in France. Again due to poor health he was exempted from duty in 1919. Married in July 1910 to Maude Maitland Savile, the Earl had no children. Eldon House in London, Ontario, Canada was the Harris family seat. Eldon House, built in 1834, its grounds and collections were gifted to the city of London as a museum in 1960. Upon his death in 1931 the earldom passed to his uncle, Arthur Edward Dalzell, 13th Earl of Carnwath.
