She is perhaps best known for his scores for Predator and Predator 2; and his collaborations with director Robert Zemeckis, working on scores for Romancing the Stone, the Back to the Future trilogy, Forrest Gump, Contact, and The Polar Express. He received Oscar nominations for Best Original Score for Forrest Gump, a Best Song for "Believe" on The Polar Express soundtrack, and two Grammy Awards for Chicken Run and "Believe" from The Polar Express.
