Malgré l’histoire passionnante de la planète et sa récente popularité, les zones habitées de Rytif conservent un esprit de « petit ville ». Les visiteurs sont souvent orientés vers Stalford, une cité de moyenne taille installée juste au nord de l’équateur. Stalford a longtemps été le centre agraire de la planète, avec ses fermes hydroponiques et vivariums commerciaux entourant les collines avoisinantes.
