The 2003 Pepsi 400 was a Winston Cup (now Sprint Cup) event held at Daytona International Speedway on July 5, 2003. Greg Biffle stretched his tank on fuel and broke up a Dale Earnhardt Incorporated seven-race winning streak at restrictor plate tracks. Biffle was just ahead of Bobby Labonte entering the final lap, but Labonte ran out of fuel (yet still finished fifth) and Biffle won over Jeff Burton by over four seconds, the largest margin of victory at Daytona in some time. Matt Kenseth finished 6th and continued a dominating 180-point championship lead on Dale Earnhardt, Jr (7th). Most of the field was over 30 seconds behind the leaders due to an extra fuel stop.
