Synopsis
| - The chipmunks that were mutated by Ub'x in the 20th century have evolved into sentient creatures by the 58th century and now want a world to call their own. However, the Solar Council that now runs Earth as well as the 36 planets in the Solar Federation refuse to relinquish Earth or any of the other planets they govern to these "terrorists". Chairman Dasor of the Solar Council has once again attempted to summon Hal Jordan to act as their Solar Director, , and put down the H'lvenite uprising but accidently summon Salakk instead. When Salakk realizes what has happened he uses his ring to summon Jordan and Arisia to the 58th century to mitigate the situation and avert a war. Unfortunately, Ub'x has rejected all the proposals offered and along with Ch'p agree to duel Jordan and Salakk to settle the dispute. Ub'x and Ch'p are no match for the other Green Lantern Corps members and are easily defeated. After the short battle, Jordan insists that the Council give the H'lvenites one of the 36 worlds they govern in order to ensure peace within the Federation. Ch'p decides he cannot return to the Green Lantern Corps back on Earth and decides to stay with his fellow H'lvenites to re-establish their homeworld H'lven. Salakk too, finds that he cannot return but instead will stay to comfort Iona Vane who still believes him to be her lover, Pol Manning.
