Dexivines are enemies from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. They are long, vine-like tentacles that appear in the Forbidden Woods and the Wind Temple. They rise from the ground when they sense Link approaching and proceed to lunge at him when he passes by. They are quite strong and difficult to escape once ensnared. Once they manage to grab Link with their three-parted mandibles, the Dexivines will proceed to leech on his Magic energy until he can break free. Dexivines can easily be cut with Link's sword and many other weapons in his inventory, but they will regrow within a matter of seconds.

Interestingly, Dexivines bear physical resemblance to Tailpasarans, enemies from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
