The unnamed Man was a customer at a wedding fair held at The Victoria Hotel. Tracy Barlow was exhibiting the services of Preston's Petals there and the man approached her stall for advice on flowers for his daughter's wedding for which he had been saving for two years. He first spoke to Robert Preston who was glad to pass him on to Tracy while he used the diversion to go to reception and organise the surprise suite he had booked for the two of them. Tracy herself was annoyed that Carla Connor was at the same hotel and, suspecting an affair between her and Robert, listened with mounting impatience as the man droned on about flowers for the big day to be held in eighteen months' time.
