| - King Groosum is the king of all T. rexes and lives in a palace on Teerex Major. Like all of his kind, Groosum is rude, dim-witted, and violent, only in his case it's to the extreme. Unlike more benevolent carnivore rulers like King Carnotaurus and King Jeck, the T. rex king generally won't listen to reason and is incredibly stubborn. Despite, or perhaps because of, this he appears to be popular among the T. rex people. Groosum also appeared as one of the carnivore rulers in the prologue of The Dinosaur Moo-Tants.

Despite, or perhaps because of, this he appears to be popular among the T. rex people. He first appeared in Teeth of the T. rex when his crown jewels were stolen by Thickhead McBrick, who, together with Braxus and Fangetta, framed Teggs and Gipsy for the crime. Groosum himself came to St. Bonecracker's Prison to take the T. rex Crown Jewels back and see the "thieves" get punished. However, Arx burst in with the real crown jewels and revealed the conspiracy to Groosum. The king decided that he was telling the truth, had Braxus and his helpers sent to prison, and allowed the astrosaurs to leave the planet in safety. Admiral Rosso later refers to King Groosum in The Carnivore Curse as one of Prince Poota's tyrannical idols, alongside the Raptor Royal, the ruler of Raptos. Groosum also appeared as one of the carnivore rulers in the prologue of The Dinosaur Moo-Tants.
