Because of his Force-sensitivity, Palpatine made him a member of the Secret Order of the Emperor. Seeing action throughout the Galactic Civil War, Vypass was selected to fight at the trap at Endor. Though he survived the Battle of Endor, the guilt of losing the battle never left the pilot. Vypass fought for the central government of the Empire, and participated during the failed defense of his homeworld from the New Republic in 6 ABY. He fought with the forces of Grand Admiral Thrawn in 9 ABY, and with the reborn Emperor Palpatine until his final death in 11 ABY. After the Imperial Reunification, Vypass served the Imperial Remnant. He fought in the Yuuzhan Vong War, and was killed.
