| - After the demise of Dream Girl in the battle against Praetor Lemnos, Rol Purtha, precog second-class, was appointed by the United Planets as her replacement in the Legion – ‘Dream Boy’. The Legionnaires were very resistant to having a new member imposed upon them, and for some time did their best to exclude Dream Boy from missions and meetings. The Legionnaires were very resistant to having a new member imposed upon them, and for some time did their best to exclude Dream Boy from missions and meetings. Although, in fairness, he did not endear himself to his potential teammates by using his powers in minor but annoying ways, such as anticipating and correcting errors in Lightning Lad’s leadership speech – while Lightning Lad was still writing it! However, when the Wanderers attacked Legion Headquarters en masse, Dream Boy’s precognitive flashes were instrumental in enabling the heroes to prepare. It was also revealed that he had, in anticipation of a crisis, predicted Brainiac 5’s security codes, and therefore had access even to the most closely-guarded areas of the building. During the Dominator War, Dream Boy was contacted by Dream Girl’s psyche, which, unknown to all except Brainiac 5, had been dwelling in Brainy’s mind since her physical death. She told him about the Legion's final move against the Dominators, utilising an extremely powerful Phantom Zone projector that Brainiac 5 would build and that Mon-El would deliver to the core of the Dominion homeworld.
