  • The Lorax review begins with a parody of The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. The young Boy is seen sitting under the tree in the shade. The Boy (played by Tamara Chambers) then proclaimed that he loved the tree, and wanted to be with the tree forever. The Tree tells the boy that it loves him too and that they would always be together. Later on, the Boy stopped visiting the tree, and this made the tree rather lonely. One day, the Boy returned as a grown man (who's played by Doug Walker), and the Tree is overjoyed to be with its friend again. However, instead of a happy reunion, the Boy produces an ax and cuts the Tree down with the ax. He then picks the Tree up and takes the tree to the paper maker. He then throws the old tree into the machine, all while the Tree's screaming bloody murder. The Tree's then made into posters for the Lorax film, and the boy started to sale tickets for the movie, stating that with the customers' support, they too can help save the trees.
