Aquil vowed not to be a coward like his father. He asked Ybrahim to teach him how to handle a sword and how to fight. In the Book 3, Mine-a asked Aquil to return to Encantadia because she felt that there is a threat to the peace between her daughters. Aquil returns from Devas to help the Sang'gres in their battle and to regain the love of Danaya.
