Anouk Teeuwe, best known professionally by her first name of Anouk, is a Dutch singer, songwriter and record producer. Her interest in music was triggered by her mother, who was a blues singer. She is best known for representing her country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmo with the song Birds, finally snapping the Dutch drought of non-qualifications in the semifinal era by finishing 6th in the first semi-final and finished 9th overall in the final, the first top 10 finish for the Netherlands in 14 years.
