  • The Iron Hills were a range of mountains located in the north of Middle-earth, and was the realm of the Dwarves of Durin's Folk.
  • The castle is a heavily equipped stronghold with walls, defense plots in the base and a gate. The player can unlock additional defense plots by purchasing a defense plot upgrade. It has 7 building plots and 4 defense plots.
  • The Remnants of the Iron Hills are the remnants of the once beautiful Iron Hills, fabled for their hues of red, russet and brown had their beauty destroyed by the relentless mining of the iron ore they contained. This was the greatest sadness of the Wazarri but led to the achievement of their greatest joy, the building of the Chamber of the Furnace within the volcano called the Fangs of Fury. The Iron Hill Dwarves are but a colony of the House of Barin the Scarred, the bulk of which lives far away in the Ered Luin. They are on friendly terms with the House of Dúrin, due to the efforts of Azaghal, a kinsman of Lord Fulla III and one of the oldest Dwarves still alive. • The Iron Hills are one of the few remaining homes of the Dwarves of Durin's Folk, the Longbeards, after the fall of Khazad-Dûm (Moria), Mount Gundabad, Erebor and the Grey Mountains. The name comes from the high iron ore deposits lying in the earth. The Iron Hills also are the region where Dáin II Ironfoot lived before Erebor was reconquered. This is a good place for Dwarven-aligned players, as it contains many types of Dwarves (including Dwarven traders), excellent mining opportunities, the rare Dwarfwort flower, and enemies to get alignment from.
