This ability is only practical when given to melee creatures, as ranged and artillery attackers are less likely to come into close combat with foes. A player would do well to have at least one creature with Disorienting Barbs in their army, or they may have trouble standing up to powerful Pack Hunter enemies or taking down bulky Herds.
