Players from anywhere may use the PTR, however the servers are hosted in the Americas region. Up to 10,000 players may be active on the PTR at a time. Any additional players will be placed into a queue. When joining the PTR, a copy of the player's account is made specifically for the region. Progression in the PTR is separate from the full game. In addition, loot boxes cannot be purchased in the PTR. For the changes currently being tested, see Public Test Region/Current Patch.
