| - __TOC__
- The Descent is a two-thousand-and-five British docudrama featuring your average gaggle of cave exploring womans: Barbara, Liz, Judy, Zelda, Sabrina, Mary and Kim (average I said so no Lara Croft, sorry guys); and behind the scenes researcher and narrator, Sir David Attenborough. Along with several slaves Runners.
- Following the death of Guerra and the discovery that his daughter is alive, Heller listens to find out that Blackwatch has discovered Dana's identity as 'Athena' as well. He decides to hitch a ride by consuming a pilot and taking his place on a mission to find her in the Red Zone...
- Missed this when it came out in theaters. Watched it courtesy of Netflix. It's an excellent horror movie about a group of spelunkers who get stuck deep underground where they're hunted by humanoid monsters. It's like Predator in caves with 100 percent less testosterone: The only genuine guy in the movie dies in the first five minutes. Despite the lack of male bravado, there's still plenty of adrenalin-pounding action. Fun movie.
- The Descent is a cave system accessed from the north-west of The Salt Flats, with the bottom end connecting to Eridian Promontory. Much of the area consists of shafts that must be descended and when this is done there is no path back up.
- The Descent is a flag that is currently dormant on the Hunter Ocean.

- The Descent is a Speed Run event featured in the Ultimate Speed Pack DLC for Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012). The event is only open to the McLaren F1 LM and available in the hardest difficulty. Different to other Speed Run events featured in the Ultimate Speed Pack, The Descent is notable for being set in curvy roads mostly. Since drifting plays a fairly large role in this event, Track Tyres can be very useful for players.
- The Descent is the 20th episode of Season 4 of Alias and the 86th episode overall. After a tactical group infiltrates the DSR and steals Rambaldi artifacts, CIA director Hayden Chase discovers that the alarms at the DSR were disabled from Nadia's computer, allowing the raid to happen, and shows up at the apartment to question her. Soon Sloane and Jack arrive and suspect that Sophia, who had access to the computer while she was living with Syd and Nadia, is Elena Derevko.
- The Descent is a 2005 British horror film written and directed by Neil Marshall. The film follows six women who, having entered an unmapped cave system, become trapped, and are hunted by subterranean flesh-eating humanoids.
- The Descent is a timeline. The main POD for this timeline is that (from) the 3rd of January 1990 the Descenders, apparently inanimate objects, appeared. With the Descenders came the Sparkers, which are usable as weapons. The Descenders mostly Descended on islands in the Caribbean and Oceania (List of Descenders), causing a lot of fighting between small nations. Also, larger nations attempted invasions of these regions, only to be met by the Sparkers...
- Juno (Natalie Mendoza), Sarah (Shauna Macdonald) and Beth (Alex Reid) are whitewater rafting in Scotland. Sarah's husband Paul (Oliver Milburn) and their daughter Jessica (Molly Kayll) wave and cheer from the bank. Juno is seen talking intimately with Paul by Beth. On the drive back to their hotel, Paul is distracted, causing a collision. Paul and Jessica are killed, but Sarah survives.
