| - A former Ambassador, Roseline Kosciusko-Morizet wasn't elected to Parliament until January 3133. In 3128, Kosciusko-Morizet ran for the leadership of the Free Democrats. She came in third place, winning 26% of the vote on the fifth ballot. Pundits praised her honest campaign and many speculated that her political career was just beginning. Just months after entering Parliament, Kosciusko-Morizet was appointed to the cabinet as Minister of Finance. She served in that position for just under three years. After her cabinet career, Ken Coburn appointed her to the Deputy Leadership. Kosciusko-Morizet was strongly considering retiring from the newly renamed Senate and was persuaded to stay by being named Deputy Leader. However, Coburn's leadership was short lived as he was diagnosed with cancer. Kosciusko-Morizet assumed the leadership unopposed and quickly made it known that she would not have a Deputy Leader. Her first Question Period's were very rough and many did not view her as forceful and effective. She was polling at about 10% nationally, the lowest of any of the party leaders. Despite this, her leadership began to gain credibility after she announced that her party would vote against the Luxury Tax Act and the Corporate Tax Act. Both would easily be approved by the Senate. However, Kosciusko-Morizet gained major support after standing up to the government. As a candidate for Supreme Executive, Morizet polled 14% and saw the party gain 15 senate seats, the largest of any party. She also saw the party win one Premier's office. Shortly before the 3148 elections, the Commonwealth Party dissolved following several internal disputes. Many supporters flocked to the Free Democrats. In the elections, Mrs. Morizet came in third place with nearly 24% of the vote. She narrowly lost a place in the second round by a mere 1.44%. Despite her loss, she saw the party gain 45 senate seats, the largest of any party. At the party conference in September 3148, Mrs. Morizet's leadership was ratified with 99.2%. Mrs. Morizet decided to step down as leader in 3151. In the party's first leadership election since Potter Swayne's ascension to the leadership, Patrick Innes was narrowly elected after defeating two opponents. She retired from the Senate in May 3160. She died a little over a decade later at the age of 85. Peverell Morizet died in 3175 at the age of 92. Véronique Huot died at the age of 47 in 3162. Pansy Séguin died in 3170 at the age of 52. Alphonsine Allaire died in 3185 at the age of 65.
