- Larry Wilson (born October 23, 1930-1979 in Kincardine, Ontario) was a professional forward and coach in the National Hockey League (NHL), He played with the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks in 152 career games, scoring 21 goals and 48 assists. His name was engraved on the Stanley Cup with Detroit in 1950. Wilson would later become the interim head coach of the Red Wings during the 1976–77 NHL season. During the summer of 1979, he died of an apparent heart attack while jogging.

| - Larry Wilson (born October 23, 1930-1979 in Kincardine, Ontario) was a professional forward and coach in the National Hockey League (NHL), He played with the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks in 152 career games, scoring 21 goals and 48 assists. His name was engraved on the Stanley Cup with Detroit in 1950. Wilson would later become the interim head coach of the Red Wings during the 1976–77 NHL season. During the summer of 1979, he died of an apparent heart attack while jogging. He was the father of former NHL player and coach Ron Wilson, and the brother of former NHL player and coach Johnny Wilson. Wilson spent most of his playing career in the minors; the bulk of it with the Buffalo Bisons of the American Hockey League.
