Ōban Star-Racers is a French cartoon series (developed with help from several Japanese studios) that aired in 2006 for 26 episodes, by Savin Yeatman-Eiffel of Sav! The World Productions. It features main protagonsit Eva Wei, who when finding her father Don Wei, gets caught up in the great race of Oban. Under the guise of Molly, she becomes the pilot of the Earth Team, and with her friends hopes to win the Ultimate Prize, which is rumoured to grant the winner any wish, in order to wish her mother back to life so they can all life as a happy family again.
