They've always had a rough relationship, but it turned worse than ever when Charlotte discovered that her real father was David Clarke and that her mother Victoria, framed him for a crime he didn't commit. Time let them heal they wounds and eventually they created a better relationship. However, when Charlotte finds out from Amanda, that her mother killed her half-sister's fiancé, Aiden Mathis, and realizing that Victoria has been using her and David to hurt Amanda; there relationship is permanently destroyed after this.
