Terry Brown was producer for Fly By Night and produced every album of theirs until Signals. Terry recorded disk 3 of Different Stages at Hammersmith Odeon in London in Febuary of 1978. He was the remix engineer on their first album but then became their producer. It was in 1983 when Neil broke the news to Terry that they wanted to part. In the movie Rush: Beyond The Lighted Stage, Terry mentioned that he was shooked, and because of all the keyboards that were being involved, and Neil getting into the electronic drums, he really didn't want an electronic band. Which, at the time, was were he thought the band was going. So in the end, Terry was done producing Rush.
