abstract	Harvester droids, also informally known as "droid pickers," were a type of droid designed to harvest crops. The droids, however, were incompetent at their work, using rough methods that damaged what they were harvesting. When the Galactic Empire began accelerating its efforts on Lothal, it took over the jogan fruit orchards once owned by the family of Beck Ollet, buying them out for premium credits. Ollet was shocked when he brought his friends Zare Leonis and Merei Spanjaf and discovered that harvester droids were treating the crops roughly, stripping the trees and littering the ground with broken branches and misshapen fruit.
