John III of Metzenhausen (German: Johann III. von Metzenhausen) (? - 1540) was the Archbishop of Trier from 1531 until 1540. John was elected the Archbishop of Trier in 1531 following the death of Richard of Greiffenklau zu Vollrads. John attempted to reform the archdiocese, but he died prematurely in 1540.
