The RG-1 (Rail Gun Model 1) is the first generation rail weapon that can be held by hand. It is manufactured by Miller International and is used highly by the New World Alliance. The weapon also has a new kind of ammunition, composed completely out of aluminum which allows the round to spiral out of the barrel to almost the speed of light. The RG-1 also possesses a select fire option and comes standard with a scope which has night, thermal, infared and even x-ray vision. When a round is fired from the barrel, it spirals out and spins like a regular rifle round, however when the round comes out, a trail of plasma is visible when the round spirals out of the weapon. The RG-1's magazine is usually up to 30 or 40 rounds, however some are known to have a 50 round drum on them.
