The RG570DX was a limited edition spot model which was offered in small numbers to select retailers. It is essentially an RG570 with a neck with sharktooth inlays similar to the RG770 which would be introduced in 1990 The RG570 is a similar model which has dot fretboard inlays. The RG570DX was offered only in 1989. As a spot model, it never appeared in a catalog and so details about its production and distribution are sparse. Based on anecdotal evidence it appears it was offered only in the US market.
