Synopsis
| - Batman and Robin begin to question this new hero known as Batgirl. Robin tries to grab a hold of her, but Batgirl kicks him away and runs off into the night. She arrives home and quickly scales the side of her house into her room, before her father returns home.
Police officer Jason Bard arrives to make sure that Barbara is okay. He warns her that Killer Moth is still on the loose. Jason takes advantage of the moment to hit on Barbara, but she slams the door in his face.
Later, Killer Moth conducts a meeting with gangster, Tony Bressi. He offers Tony his protection services, but Bressi laughs at the ridiculous villain and has him forcibly thrown out of his establishment.
The following evening, Barbara dons her costume once again and ventures out into the night. She stops several criminals from robbing a grocery outlet. After returning home from a busy night's work, she decides to improve her crime-fighting arsenal. She orders spelunking supplies and fashions a bat-rope for herself. She scales one of the highest skyscrapers in Gotham City and prepares to test out her new equipment. Batman and Robin closely monitor her progress.
