- Monstro is the name of a giant whale, a mix between a sperm whale and a blue whale (similar in many ways to Moby Dick), and the final antagonist from Disney's 2nd full-length animated feature film, Pinocchio released in 1940. He is a whale who ate entire ships whole - the monster devoured Geppetto's raft and later Pinocchio himself, however, Pinocchio started a fire in the whale's stomach and the smoke caused him to sneeze them out - Monstro then gave chase to the fleeing heroes until they crashed into the shore. While Pinocchio spends the night in Stromboli's troupe and later, Pleasure Island, Geppetto searches for his son. Taken to sea, Geppetto, Figaro, and Cleo are swallowed whole (complete with a boat) by Monstro. He later swallows Pinocchio, when the little wooden boy comes searching
- Monstro is an enormous whale and the primary villain of The Legend of Cholena. He later reappeared as a recurring villain in Thorn Valley Chronicles.

- Monstro ist ein Wesen, welches wiederholt in der Kingdom Hearts-Reihe auftaucht. Es handelt sich dabei um einen riesigen Wal, dessen Inneres oftmals sogar als eigenständige Welt fungiert. Seine Heimatwelt jedoch ist das Paradies der bösen Buben.

Geppetto tells his son that they must abandon ship, and tries to hand him the one life vest they have. Pinocchio tells him to take it, because he is made of wood and therefore can float. Pinocchio then tells him to save himself and dives in the water, just as the whale approaches them. Some time later, Geppetto is seen stranded ashore, recuperating, and he is left brokenhearted by the sight of the lifeless Pinocchio, back to being a mere wooden puppet, face down on the beach. - Monstro was a powerful, but peaceful martian who visited earth when he accidentally trapped himself in a spacecraft bound for our planet. Monstro created pandamonium amonst most of the earth citizens he encountered when he set out on foot in New York, and the police assumed him to be the vanguard of an alien invasion. Monstro tried to escape, but was tracked down by The Shield. When The Shield attacked him, mistakenly believing that Monstro was threatening his partner Dusty the Boy Detective, Mostro crumpled into a fetal position. Monstro decided to stay on Earth for a while and The Shield attempted to look out for him during his visit. However, The Shield quickly became annoyed with him and Monstro set out on his own for a few weeks in March. He naively attempted to help a number of eart
