| - When Tony Stark was a little boy, he liked to build stuff. Moving on... Skipping several years... Ah yes. Here's the fun parts!
Tony Stark was an irresponsible CEO of Stark Industries after his dad died. As such, when he offered to show off a missile to American troops, he was killed by a land mine from enemy troops. RIP in peace Tony Stark...
...Alright, I lied. But he did get injured by the land mine. A piece of shrapnel hit his chest and got close to his heart. Then he blacked out.
Then some guy named Ho Yensin helped remove most of the shrapnel and used an electromagnet called the Arc Reactor to keep the shards from hurting Stark. Stark thanked him and they planned escape. Ho used himself as a distraction as Stark built the Iron Man armor. Unfortunately, Ho died, but at least Stark escaped, right?
Anyways, Stark decided to do something for once in his life and use his Iron Suit to help people. So he became the IRON MAN!
Being Iron Man
It was a pretty tough life. Having to deal with super-villains like the Mandarin and Crimson Dynamo, Stark eventually joined with Thor, Hulk, Ant-Man, and Wasp to become a team known as The Avengers.
So Iron Man also leads the Avengers on several missions. He earns the nic-name "The Golden Avenger." But after the whole terrorist incident, he became a more humble leader. He still had a drinking problem, though.
