The King of Chiang Mai was a 14th century ruler of the city of Chiang Mai, located in the northern part of modern-day Thailand. At a site near the southern edge of modern-day Kamphaeng Phet, he constructed a temple, which housed many riches deposited by the king, and was protected by a combination lock and other defenses.
